I am up at 7:15 preparing for my 8 AM class. Did I mention all of the high schools are on a two hour delay incase of snow but us college students have to still go in. It is freezing! So this morning for breakfast I am having a double fiber english muffin with whipped cream cheese and lox. I am typing this while my muffin is toasting and getting way too excited. As far as eating for the rest of the day I will be choosing something on campus since I am stuck there all day. I am deciding between a Chik Fil A grilled chicken sandwich, Quiznos, or another salad. Well that's all I have time for now! I will update with pictures during my break between classes.
My 8AM professor let us out a hour early again! So I am now sitting in one of the student lounges on campus. If there is one thing I hate it is the people who flop themselves on a couch in the lounge and then fall asleep. It is 9:19 AM and I now feel obligated to be super quiet and you are taking up an entire couch! I just think it is inconsiderate and for some reason in makes me furious. On a lighter note I did just buy a yummy parfait. I wish they came in smaller sizes because that is just way too much parfait for one person. I will eat 1/4 of the yogurt and fish out all of the strawberries and blueberries. My original plan was to buy some pineapple but they hadn't put out the fresh fruit yet.
So I had a pack of late July sandwich cookies and the 200 calories were completely worth it. Plus they are organic and have NO high fructose corn syrup and did I mention a 4g serving of whole grains.
After that I finished out my classes and ended up going to sushi with Dustin and Corey. Since I had already enjoyed a chicken sandwich I ended up just getting the sunomono appetizer. Sorry about the picture I had to take it on my phone. Sunomono consists of shredded cucumber, seaweed, rice vinegar, and crab. It is the most delicious snack for under 100 calories! Pizza time is slowly approaching and I am still unsure of my solution.Although tomato soup with rice and a piece of bread seems like it will be my final choice.
Breakfast: Double fiber english muffin with 1 tbs of whipped cream cheese and an ounce of lox: 168 calories of yums
Snack: 1/4 Java City Parfait with blueberries and strawberries: 82.5 calories
Lunch: Chargrilled chicken sandwich from Chik Fil A: 300 calories with Late July cookies 200 calories.
Late Afternoon Snack: Sunomono: 84 calories
Dinner: Organic tomato and rice soup (2 servings) 200 calories
