Day 3

So right now I am babysitting and the girls are having a pretend sleepover and they have hired me to watch their babies haha. So yesterday I went to Fresh Market and ground my own almond butter. It took all I had to wait until today to eat it. Almond butter is one of those things that I absolutely love and never get sick of. After breakfast I headed to babysitting and baked sugar cookies with the girls but I can proudly say I resisted the temptation and didn't eat one, but I still included a picture of them. For a snack I had some watermelon and pineapple. Today for lunch I am planning on some tomato basil soup from Harris Teeter. I found some roasted garlic chicken sausages at the grocery store and decided to just make tonight simple and put it with pasta and sauce. I am excited for this weekend though because I also bought the sausages in a jalapeno flavor. I have a few other recipes I look forward to trying like a sweet potato stuffed with barbecue chicken and a sweet potato, banana, and chocolate chip muffin.
I almost forgot I bought banana babies at the grocery store and had one for dessert. It is a dark chocolate dipped banana that is frozen. The only ingredients are banana and dark chocolate and it was delicious but I am sure I can make them on my own, which also might be a something to try to do this weekend.

By the way I am babysitting tomorrow night and I will be faced with the most tempting of temptations yummy greasy calorie filled pizza.Wish me luck and please send me good low calorie vibes.

  2. The cookie picture is inspired.

I'll post my today feed tomorrow, when it's all over and done with. I'm having a dinner party Saturday with tortilla soup and homemade fixins. I may even bake my tortilla chips instead of frying them because I am sooo committed.

  5. I can't believe they make bananas precoated in chocolate. When I was little that's what my neighbo Leigh Ann's mom would make us for snacks. Delicious. Today I discovered that my LoseIt iphone app will send me a daily log of everything I entered! You're supposed to send it to other people to humiliate yourself into eating well. I suppose this is close enough.

P.S. I made the worst black eyed peas ever. I was trying to emulate delicious hammy taste without delicious ham. Back to the drawing board.
