Happy Birthday Mom!!!


Today was kind of crazy! 1. It is my Mom's Birthday! 2. I went to a dinner party. 3. I was barely around internet

2. Dustin and I went to a thai themed dinner! I was in charge of the appetizer and dessert. For the appetizer I made fried wontons and for dessert I made ginger whoopie pies with lemon filling. Our main course was prepared by my friend Danielle and it was delicious Massaman Curry and Corey made a cucumber salad and some very spicy soup! The dinner party was super fun and I can't wait until the next one! Oh after dinner Corey and Danielle made delicious tea consisting of milk, sugar, and black tea and possibly honey... It was fabulous
3. no internet = prolonged posts and I am sorry!

Breakfast: Amy's Toaster Pop (strawberry) = 150 calories
Snack: I had a tester wonton and Dustin and I split a whoopie pie
Lunch: 2 slices Amy's Organic Spinach Pizza with an orange: 350 calories

Day 23






I bought a package of Amy's Apple Toaster Pops last week to use as a grab and go breakfast for my 8 AM. I had one this morning and it was very good but unfortunately I burnt it on one side but I will add a picture of the box. As far as the rest of the day goes I will be in my room first watching and then writing a film analysis on La Maternelle for my Gender and Sexuality in French Cinema class. I am not sure on what I will eat for the rest of the day though hopefully I will keep on track.

Lunch: Chik Fil A Chargrilled Sandwich with carrots, broccoli, and celery :347 calories

Day 22







The third week of the challenge is over and I lost another pound! So my weight loss total is now 5.6 pounds! So, yesterday while I was reviewing my blog I realized how dependent I have been on Larabars and treats, so this morning I tried something a little different for breakfast. This morning for breakfast I chopped up a small tomato and a little bit of onion and let it cook in the pan for a few minutes then I poured two eggs (with a tsp of feta mixed into them) into the pan and made a scramble. I also had a mug of green tea with a tbs of honey.

Burrito was delicious! It was a great idea for days when I am babysitting!

Breakfast: 2 eggs mixed with tomato, onion, tsp of feta, and garlic : 185 calories and an orange: 45 calories
Tea with honey: 64 calories
Snack: Popcorn: 60 calories
Lunch: Cedar Lane Low Fat Chicken Burrito: 270 calories
1 animal cracker with peanut butter and a mint Hershey's kiss: 70 calories
Dinner: Half of a panini and some rice with shrimp I also had a cookie :-(

Today has been super busy! I am at the part in my semester where all my first tests and assignments are due. I am planning on getting some exercise in today though.

Breakfast: Apple Pie Larabar: 190
Snack: Orange and a Fruit2day: 155

No bake cookie and a couple of Dustin's fries : 200 calories
Dinner: Soup: 200 calories
Glass of fat free milk and 2 Newman's Own Peanut Butter Chocolate Sandwich Cookies: 200 calories
2 squares of Dagoba organic New Moon Bar
Total: 1,205 + 2 squares of chocolate

Day 20










I had a Cinnamon Roll Larabar this morning and I must say that I think it's better than the Ginger Snap bar. My plan for the day is to have some tea and grapefruit for a snack and then a quesadilla for lunch. I might have to bike up to the Tienda and buy some more fresh salsa.

Breakfast: Cinnamon Roll Larabar: 240 calories
Snack: Kashi Heart to Heart Cracker with Sonoma Jack cheese wedge: 170 calories
Lunch: Chicken, salsa, avocado, spinach, and tomato quesadilla with fresh guacamole and tomatillo salsa
Dinner: I made a chicken soup with spinach, black beans, carrots, jalapeno, and a little lime.
Snack: Orange and a no bake cookie and bar
